At 24Slides, we want to go beyond creating top-tier presentation design: as a B Corp, we are strongly committed to our environment and community. That’s why we partnered with the Malang Red Cross to turn collective goodwill into life-saving action for patients in need.

What was the 24Slides Indonesia x Malang Red Cross collaboration about?
The CSR team wanted to prioritize a great donor experience, so we prepared everything to host an in-office blood donation. This way, our 24Sliders didn’t have to spend time or effort traveling elsewhere, as everything happened in a safe, familiar place: the office.
Our 24Volunteer Program was in full action, with employees stepping up to play an active role in this initiative. Our volunteers transformed the office into a welcoming space, prepared refreshing treats for donors, and guided participants through every step. Thanks to their dedication, the entire experience felt seamless, supportive, and truly human!
We also provided participants with a Blood Donation Guidebook weeks before the event. This action ensured donors had all the information they needed to prepare their bodies for a successful donation.
The result? Let’s see!
- The initiative resulted in 12 blood bags collected from 22 assistants. 10 applicants were deferred due to different medical factors (all safety measures were in place!).
- Our potential support is 12 patient transfusions, or up to 36 if used as separate blood components.
- 100% of participants would recommend the event to a friend or colleague, and 79% of donors gave our post-donation care a perfect score.

Some testimonials and final takeaways
To conclude this article, we want to share a few testimonials from our 24Sliders and their impressions of the event:
“We get so much information about the positive side effects… this is my first time doing this, and I feel so excited.”
“Beyond being highly beneficial for others, the program has also inspired many friends who had never donated blood before to finally take the step.”
“Meeting with other people who want to give their holiday time to donate… that was something awesome for me, and the goodie bag was beyond unbelievable.”
“After this event, I have a positive thought that we have to always take care of our health if we want to help others.”
It was very rewarding to see that this collaboration not only created a positive impact for patients in urgent need of blood but also generated a wave of awareness among our 24Sliders.
The initiative encouraged first-time donors to take their first step, while motivating those who couldn’t donate to start addressing health issues they had previously overlooked. This activity exceeded our expectations, and we’re grateful to have created a meaningful impact for all participants!

At 24Slides, we will continue contributing to the development of our communities. This time, our efforts were directed toward SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being, as part of the UN 2030 Agenda, which guides many of our impact projects.
