Guided by our B Corp mission, at 24Slides, we are always looking for new ways to empower our community, and of course, our employees. That is why we participated in ‘The Women Changemakers’ event held in Lima on August 29th this year.
This event, co-hosted by Girls Be Change and WWF, brought together women from diverse backgrounds for an intimate women’s circle, providing a safe and supportive space where we shared the challenges faced throughout our professional journeys.

About the ‘Women Changemakers Community’
The Women Changemakers Community Gathering was founded by Carmen Chan, Founder of Girls Be Change, and Dorothy Lam, Co-Founder and Chief Catalyst of Dream Impact.
The idea began in the summer of 2023 when both changemakers envisioned what an ideal community could look like: a safe space for women leaders to meet organically, exchange ideas with ease, and find inspiration and encouragement from one another.
Since then, Women Changemakers Gatherings have taken place in several countries, including Denmark and Peru, where 24Slides has offices.
This initiative has three main goals:
- Create a safe and inclusive space for women changemakers to connect.
- Bridge needs and catalyze synergies among participants.
- Build a long-term global community based on trust and mutual support.
With everything we’ve shared so far, you can probably imagine the energy that filled the room and what came next!
Experiencing the event
The day began with a coffee break that helped everyone connect and start meaningful conversations. Participants came from diverse professional areas, especially those related to social and environmental sustainability.
In this edition, 24Slides and WWF joined Girls Be Change as co-organizers. For us, as a B Corp committed to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), this gathering directly connects with our purpose and gender equity, reinforcing our dedication to creating a more inclusive and equitable future.
The main activity was a women’s circle where participants reflected on personal and professional achievements. Surrounded by women with different realities but common challenges, we found shared experiences that made the event a space for connection, understanding, and empowerment.

At 24Slides, we believe that design is a tool to transform realities. Since our foundation, the empowerment of our team and community has guided our actions and purpose.
Through initiatives like SlideAid, which provides design support to social organizations, and 24Academy, our free online learning platform, we utilize our design expertise as a force for good, transforming creativity into a positive impact for those who need it most.
These efforts come to life through the dedication of our CSR team and the passion of internal volunteers who continuously work to make a difference in their surroundings.
