As part of our mission to Design a Better Future, finding ways to empower the communities that surround us is a key aspect of 24Slides’ DNA. Through programs such as 24Academy, 24Slides aims to nurture market-relevant skills and create more—and better—opportunities in the communities that surround us.
In July 2025, this commitment took a new step forward by joining forces with Universidad Continental and its program Tarpuy—an initiative that gave us the chance to contribute where we can make the greatest difference: helping entrepreneurs communicate their purpose with clarity and confidence.
Supporting young and upcoming innovators is key. By providing them with tools to enhance their skills, we aim to increase their chances of success—and, in turn, help them create more jobs, opportunities, and positive change within their own communities.
As one of the leading international presentation design agencies working with businesses and organizations worldwide, 24Slides is in a privileged position to share this expertise with the entrepreneurs of tomorrow. Collaborations like this allow us to transform professional know-how into meaningful impact.
And with that purpose, our journey with Tarpuy began.
Sowing the Seeds for a Better Future
Tarpuy, meaning “to sow” in Quechua, is a pre-incubation initiative of the Universidad Continental of Peru, aimed at helping develop sustainable and socio-environmentally conscious business ideas.
Through a months-long training journey, the program provides participants with a holistic learning experience—covering everything from market validation and financial planning to communication and pitching. The goal is simple but powerful: equip young innovators with the tools they need not only to refine their ideas but to express them with confidence, clarity, and impact.
And at 24Slides, we know better than anyone how transformative great communication can be. That’s why we were invited to lead Module 4: Communication and Presentation, which focused on equipping participants with the necessary tools to showcase their vision in the best possible way.

The Power of Presentation Design
The training consisted of two online sessions focused on presentation design and storytelling. From our local roster of professional presentation designers, two design facilitators were selected to bring their expertise into the Tarpuy Program: Valery, our Peru Design Lead, and Sebastian, one of our Design Managers.
During these sessions, participants learned the fundamentals of presentation design, including alignment, contrast, hierarchy, spacing, and overall visual consistency. But the sessions went beyond aesthetics. Participants explored how storytelling and message crafting can turn complex ideas into compelling narratives—making design not just an enhancer, but a strategic tool for persuasion.
“The program gave me many valuable learnings, but above all, it helped me better structure my proposal and understand how to communicate it more effectively. It also strengthened my confidence as an entrepreneur.”

This module was especially important as it led directly into the program’s final pitching stage—a live presentation before a jury in Cusco.
And we’re proud to say the results reflected that impact: From novelty of content to usefulness and clarity, the Communication Module delivered by 24Slides received a 100% satisfaction score across all categories.
From Idea to Impact
To further support the participants, 24Slides hosted a full presentation redesign giveaway, offering one team the chance to elevate their pitch for the final event in Cusco.
The winners were TAWA, an entrepreneurial group working to create positive socio-environmental change.
Their original deck had strong ideas behind it, but, like many early-stage pitches, it needed clarity, structure, and visual refinement. After learning the fundamentals in our sessions, they worked closely with our team to bring new life to their message.
“Our presentation was quite basic in terms of design. It needed a visual boost to make it more attractive and capture the audience’s attention. Now, after the course, we’re clearer and more strategic when presenting. I think more about how to organize the information visually so it’s quickly understood and makes an impact.”

The result? A fully redesigned, high-impact deck ready to wow the jury in Cusco—one that helped position their project as more solid, trustworthy, and professionally crafted.

Helping Design a Better Future
This collaboration marks an important milestone in 24Slides’ journey toward Designing a Better Future. We know that real, lasting change requires collaboration—and partnering with educational institutions like Universidad Continental in order to empower future entrepreneurs is one of the most effective ways to create positive ripple effects within communities.
As Sebastian, our Design Manager who led this collaboration, shared,
“Looking back, this experience gave me much more than I expected. Teaching a group of entrepreneurs reminded me why I love what I do. It wasn’t just about PowerPoint or templates. It was about empowering people with tools to express themselves better and share their ideas with the world.”

Our involvement in Tarpuy—and specifically within its sustainability-focused framework—reinforces our belief that design is a powerful tool for empowerment. When entrepreneurs can communicate their ideas effectively, their chances of securing support, expanding their impact, and bringing their vision to life as real change all increase.
This project is more than a workshop or a deck redesign—it’s a seed planted. One that we hope will continue to grow as we expand our reach to more communities, universities, and organizations across the world.
At 24Slides, we believe that businesses can be a force for good. And through programs like Tarpuy, we are proud to help shape a future where more voices, ideas, and solutions can thrive.
