As you get busier and start having more responsibilities, you will notice that you must write down your tasks in order to keep track of all of them. This is exactly how the first checklist came by, which is a simple productivity tool that has proven its functionality over and over again. It has become so widely spread, that there is a sense of achievement cultivated by people when they tick off a task from their to-do list. This slide deck has been designed to up the ante on the traditional to-do list and make it a feasible tool even in the corporate environment. Use the Classification List Checklist, the Checklist Matrix and the Checklist Funnel Slide to maximize your productivity.
When you have multiple items on your checklist, you can classify them by category in order to organize them in a more coherent manner. When it comes to presentations, classifying tasks into categories is the best way to quickly introduce new stakeholders to your to-do list.
Matrixes are able to hold and present information in a 2-d plan, associating an element from a row to another element in a column. This can work specifically well with checklists as the matrix will be able to give you a 2-d representation of the information, allowing you to have a good understanding of the tasks at hand with a simple glance.
Checklists and funnels go hand in hand. Completing tasks is the key to progressing from one stage to the other. You are only able to go further down the funnel by completing all the tasks associated with the level before them. This slide is the visual representation of this concept and can help you explain that kind of processes to your stakeholders.
