Let your work do the talking! Portfolios are widely used by visual professionals. However, the truth is anyone can benefit from having an updated, well-organized portfolio. As an independent contractor, freelancer or external consultant, your career portfolio is an essential tool for showing samples of your work to client prospects and demonstrate why you are the right professional to do the job. Just like your resume, your career portfolio must include your professional profile. But don’t add a boring text-heavy paragraph for that.
