24Slides has consistently provided us employees with great ease, and the option for Special Leave is among those benefits. Today, I want to share how I found the balance between work and motherhood, and how 24Slides’ Special Leave helped me return to work with renewed strength.
Hi! I’m Rosi, a Graphic Designer based in Malang, Indonesia. Before diving into my experiences, I would like to provide a brief overview of what Special Leave entails. At 24Slides, Special Leave is granted under specific circumstances, such as for weddings, maternity, paternity, or the baptism of our children, and many others.
In addition to offering Special Leave, 24Slides also grants us some types of Permission Leave, a benefit that allows us to maintain a healthy balance in our lives. What sets 24Slides apart is the simplicity with which we can utilize these permissions whenever needed.

Special Leave by A Special Company
Trust me, this title holds significant meaning. It represents one of the many exceptional offerings from this remarkable company.
I began my maternity leave in November of last year, marking the most extended absence I have had from 24Slides, totaling four months. I took it ahead of schedule to ensure that I could adequately prepare for my delivery, and I am grateful that the company permitted this arrangement.
The process of arranging my maternity leave, including all necessary steps and permissions, was straightforward and informative. Additionally, everyone involved was extremely supportive, which I really appreciated!
24Slides truly offers ample time for new mothers to rest and nurture their babies at home. Furthermore, even after our leave concludes, we have the option to work remotely for an additional eight months, which allows us to enjoy the growth of our babies without rushing.
Another advantage of this exceptional company I would like to highlight is its permission leave policy. While balancing my responsibilities of caring for my baby and working from home, 24Slides consistently offered me remarkable support.
Recently, when an unexpected situation arose that required my full attention on my little one, 24Slides allowed me to utilize their permission leave, giving me the option to take either a full day or half day off. This was truly a blessing, enabling me to focus on my baby at home.
My Experience at 24Slides Book Club
After completing my maternity leave, I am enthusiastic about rejoining the workforce. While it’s a bit difficult to get up to speed with the latest changes in the office, I am grateful for the numerous supportive colleagues who were ready to help me and keep me updated.
In March, I had the opportunity to reconnect with everyone through an exciting new initiative known as the 24Club Experience. Initially, this initiative focused on sports, but it has now broadened its scope to include a wide variety of activities.
This year, I chose to participate in the 24Slides Book Club. While I wouldn’t describe myself as a bookworm, I enjoy spending my leisure time immersed in novels, particularly romance and comic genres. Even during my maternity leave, I managed to read a few books while caring for my baby at home. During this experience, I had the opportunity to connect with other book enthusiasts at the office and discuss our varied literary interests.
However, the most memorable moment for me was holding the first edition of our Align Magazine, a publication launched by the Indonesian team that features the latest updates from all 24Slides offices. It was truly gratifying to possess a tangible product of my editorial efforts. We also had a brief discussion about the forthcoming second edition, which I am eagerly anticipating!
For me, 24Slides is a company that genuinely promotes work-life balance, and I wholeheartedly support this. I now feel completely revitalized and eager to engage in my work, ready to deliver exceptional presentation designs for our wonderful clients. It’s incredibly thrilling to be back in the swing of things.
It has been several months since I wrote my last article, and I am eager to share additional experiences as a proud member of the 24Slides team.
